Vinted Users Voice Frustration Over Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Updates
Earlier, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.

One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Manual Updates
A different user, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she stated.

It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: last year, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
